Over the last years I have sought to exhibit in different spaces to connect with a wider audience, collaborating with boutique and luxury hotels in different settings and countries around the world. This has been an opportunity to contribute with unique art events generating new interactions beyond the scope of galleries and art fairs.

ANANTARA ARTSPACE, HOI AN, VIETNAM.
"Katarina Abovic is a visiting artist from Chile. During her stay here, she has produced a collection of paintings which describe her emotional and spirtiual response to the ancient landscape, people and culture of Hoi An in Central Vietnam. “Series of acrylic on canvas paintings originated from the experience of living on the island of Roatan (Honduras), where the element of water leads me to embody new physical sensations which reflects on the arise of images related to movement, dynamism and organicity. Through the contemporary representation of human faces and bodies this exhibition is a opportunity to discover the origin of a vital energy through different painting techniques”

“The human essence, body and movement. This exhibition is born from these three main concepts, and from a personal experience in relation to dance and self-knowledge through body language. This series of paintings represent a notion of the human being as continuously changing, impermanent and constructed from multiple dimensions. Painting is the medium representing the human existence beyond from the physical form, unravelling that energy and ethereal connections that lies underneath."

“Series of paintings and drawings that explore the connection of human beings with nature and animals, creating imaginary worlds where they coexist harmoniously. This exhibition was born after a fellowship in Bali, a place where nature proliferates, spirituality is breathed in the air, and the connection between human beings and nature is evident in daily living.”
